Guest Cjhals73 Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 I've installed this update several times and the update history shows the install as successful. Why does windows update continually list KB954430 as an important update? I assume the install actually failed for some reason. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated. Quote
Guest Jon Wallace Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 Did you use / are you using IE 8 BETA by any chance? I had this on a tech machine a little back... Try removing the update in Add / Remove programs and then manually installing it - http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...&displaylang=en If you can't download / install it manually, remove it and then try a windows update again. Hope this helps, Regards, Jon www.insidetheregistry.com --- "Cjhals73" <Cjhals73@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:9390F69B-60F3-4D60-849D-CAC0D9BDBE11@microsoft.com...<span style="color:blue"> > I've installed this update several times and the update history shows the > install as successful.
