Guest FromTheRafters Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 There is no reason to replace one with the other unless they interfere with one another in some way. Guest t-4-2 Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 Sorry, I started a new thread. (The reason would have been obvious from the other thread). SupAntiSpyware took 4 hs. 22 min to do a full scan, and 1h. 25 min for " quick scan ". That's unacceptable. I un-installed it already. May be I'll just rely on Windows Defender ? t-4-2 "FromTheRafters" <erratic@nomail.afraid.org> wrote in message news:uOh2VBktJHA.4648@TK2MSFTNGP06.phx.gbl... > There is no reason to replace one with the other unless they interfere > with one another in some way. > > "t-4-2" <dhuang1@cogeco.ca> wrote in message > news:eTM%23z9atJHA.3988@TK2MSFTNGP05.phx.gbl... >>I am thinking of replacing SuperAntiSpyware free edition with Adware Pro. >> Comments/suggestions please ? >> t-4-2 > > Quote

Guest t-4-2 Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 I do have Search & Destroy 1.6.2, and I keep it up to date. Is that and Windows Defender enough for just regular home use ? My machine runs Vista Home Premium 32 bit SP1. "THE C. Guest FromTheRafters Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 Better yet, Spybot Search & Destroy. Avoid all similarly named knock-offs. "THE C.
