Unable to delete AVG

I've tried everything. AVG doesn't show up under programmes, McAfee

sent me a link that is supposed to delete AVG, I can't download McAfee

as it says it is conflicting with AVG. We tried searching for hidden

files, it doesn't even show up in my security icon. So how do we get

rid of it?

You looked in the remove programs dialogue?

McAfee, IMO another resource hog
