Dear All,

In the Group Policy there is very good feature i.e. Interactive logon:

Number of Previouse logons to cache(in case domain controller is not

available) in the below mentioned patch in Group Policy:

Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Local

Policies\Security Options

The Maximum Limit to increase the Logon Count is 50, Is it possible to

Increase the Logon Count more than 50 ?

Your reply will be appriated.

Thanks & regards,

Arjun

You do know that value refers to 50 unique logons and not 50 logons by a

single user right? IOW that doesn't mean after 50 logons by the same user

that they'll need to contact a DC. For example, I go from end of May until

end of October every year with virtually no direct access to my DCs with no

problems and that is certainly more than 50 logons. Do you really need to

have that many logons cached on a single system?

Are you sure you would want a computer/laptop to remember more than 50

different user accounts and cache them so they can logon without contacting

the domain?

(It's not a count of the number of logons a single account can do before

they have to connect to the domain.)

Ref: "IOW"...it bugs me too that some people have a thesaurus of acronyms in

their head...my first guess is "I Often Wonder, "but then..."I Often

Wish"..."I Operate Windows"...use your imagination to see what works :-) !
