Guest PA Bear [MS MVP] Posted April 28, 2009 Posted April 28, 2009 [X-post to Windows Update, Security, and Security Home Users newsgroups as an FYI] <QP> There seems to be a myth that Microsoft limits security updates to genuine Windows users. Let me be clear: all security updates go to all users. </QP> http://windowsteamblog.com/blogs/windowsse...ty-updates.aspx -- ~PA Bear Quote

Guest MowGreen Posted May 2, 2009 Posted May 2, 2009 Pardon ? ALL security updates shown here [ that have not been superseded ] are available at the MS Download Center and they will install regardless of 'Genuine' status - http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/current.aspx Please show me one example of an update listed on the Sec Bulletin page that will not install due to the system failing WGA after being downloaded from MS Download.
