ImWithStupid Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 It doesn't. I'd like to be the judge of that. Quote

ToriAllen Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 Not directly maybe, but all women do. Oh, this should be interesting...Do tell. Quote Smart men learn from their own mistakes; Wise men learn from others. I refuse to engage in a battle of wits with an unarmed man.
ImWithStupid Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 Oh, this should be interesting...Do tell. All women get something for sex. Whether it's a meal, a gift, flowers or something intangible such as, companionship or a boost to their self esteem. I didn't say the payment had to be monetary. Quote

eisanbt Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 Damn right we need to get something for sex. It's not like we can expect an orgasm everytime. I hear of this on TV, the internet and the from the odd off-hand source but no friend or partner of mine has ever complained about not getting off during sex (With the exception of early on sexual encounters with ignorent boys). If you aren't getting what you want from sex, than take what you want. If you're the type to just lay there and expect some bull to mount you and bring you to whatever end than laziness is your enemy, not the man's lack of effort. If the right spot isn't being hit, get up and position things properly yourself; Ride the damn bull. The more you're into it, the more your partner is going to be into it. Lust inspires lust resulting in good sex. God knows why this thread about deserting turned into this nonesense again. WullieTheRed Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 I dunno about the yank army, but over here, we're allowed to refuse an order if we deem it unlawful. Which I guess, in my mind, means that anyone who doesn't want to go to Iraq is quite fookin right. Quote I am a wanker
builder Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 Fuck yeah; good point Wullie. What I want to know is, what is the end game? Democracy in Iraq? In a zealot tribal society? Good luck fellas. Looks like you're in for the long haul. Quote Persevere, it pisses people off.

hugo Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 Tried that with Saddam. Bloody ego keeps getting over-inflated. It actually was working. Saddam was keeping Iran in check. The neo-cons fucked it up. They should have understood why George H.W. Bush did not take out Saddam. The only good part is the next puppet dictator might think twice before pissing off the US. 1 Quote The power to do good is also the power to do harm. - Milton Friedman "I cannot undertake to lay my finger on that article of the Constitution which granted a right to Congress of expending, on objects of benevolence, the money of their constituents." - James Madison

Looks like you're in for the long haul. Long haul? We're already in the long haul, although there is no destination in site. With Afganistan being somewhat 70/30 Taliban controlled and the top commanders crying for aid every single day and our grip on Iraq slip sliding away, there is not a clear fucking route... ain't even on the same fucking highway. Instead we have to listen to the limp-wristed liberal media expose Mark Foley as a pedophile and discredit him like the Republicans did to Clinton. Only the eggheaded elite minority is even discussing world matters these days. Quote To be the Man, you've got to beat the Man. - Ric Flair Everybody knows I'm known for dropping science.
squirrel341 Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 I think it should be decided on a case by case situation. You have to understand the reasons behind the Awol to begin with, the situations that arise to cause it, the mental stability of the person who decides to go Awol. Believe it or not, even though they have voluntarily signed up to fight in this war, Some people just can't handle the amount of death, destruction and violence that they witness once they are face to face with it. The vast majority of those who are going Awol are young kids. 19 or 20 year old kids who, when they originally signed up were sincere in their desire to fight for the rights of the rest of us to post crap about whether or not they are strong or weak for the decisions they make. Until you have walked a mile or two in their shoes, don't judge them unless you understand all of the facts that surround the decisions they make. Quote
