Outlook 2010 on Exchange 2007 certificate error

Hi

I have found similar questions, but nothing for this particular combination. just installed outlook 2010, connecting to an exchange 2007 server. it comes up with a Security Alert:

Exchange7Server.domain Information you exchange with this site cannot be viewed or changed by others. However there is a problem with site's security certificate.

-The security certificate is from a trusted certifyin authority.

-The security certificate date is valid.

-The name on the security certificate is invalid or does not match the name of the site.

-do you want to proceed?

we have a 3rd party cert installed for OWA. this only comes up on the LAN, never got it with outlook 2003....

any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
