Webroot and MSE both running - trying to uninstall Webroot

I have recently installed MSE on my Windows 7 notebook, following expiry of the Webroot subscription I took up when I purchased the notebook. I thought I had uninstalled Webroot successfully via Programs and Features>Uninstall, but it appears not. The program has disappeared from the list of programs, but my Action Centre says I have two anti-virus and two anti-malware products running. Help! I've searched on here for similar questions/answers, and it looks like I might need to make changes to the registry etc, which I'm not particularly confident doing myself. Will I need to uninstall MSE as well, then re-install it?
