Guest techrep43 Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 I'm helping a staff member in our office who is unable to call Outlook by clicking a mailto: weblink, Outlook never appears. He is running Win7Pro 32-bit and IE9. When I go to Default programs > Set program access and computer defaults > Custom > Choose a default e-mail program, “Use my current e-mail program” is selected. If I select Microsoft Office Outlook > OK, then go back into the screen, “Use my current e-mail program” is once again selected. Not sure if this is how this screen is supposed to behave? Seems as if the change I’m making is not sticking. Also if I go into Default Programs > Set your default programs > Microsoft Office Outlook > Choose defaults for this program > the MAILTO protocol is set for Outlook. Is this a known bug?
