I received a phone call today from an Asian sounding caller. They claimed to represent Microsoft and that they were calling to advise of a new aggressive virus that they could deal with. I asked whether they had put the virus onto the internet themselves. After a pause they invited me to visit a site called something like "Check Buddah". Scam? or a real microsoft representative presumably calling all the millions of computer owners in the world to save them from a virus that, as they say, no virus protection programme can deal with. Perhaps it's a genuine service but I am not going anywhere near this site.
