my MSE red/orange/green castle won't appear in notification bar

Hi at 1750 GMT on Wedmesday 7th March 2012.

 

When I start up my machine MSE does load but the icon doesn't appear in notification tray. In behaviour page it is set to "show icon and notifications"

 

I have un and re installed three times now.

 

Any ideas or fix please
