I used an old Windows 7 product code on my laptop after I wiped the HDD, and used a Windows 7 installation files from my programming class (I used it for the computer I just built, so yes, they are legit), and Windows keeps giving me a problem with the activation. I know it probably wouldn't work, but is there a way I can contact Microsoft about validating the old code without having to pay 50 bucks for an email?
