Windows offline defender

I ran Windows Defender, and I was told I had a trojan that needs removing, and to download Windows Defender Offline. I try to make a disc, and it just says it failed, try again.

 

I've tried to make 2 discs, shut down my internet, and it goes to "step 2" and then fails.

 

Also, it said defender removed the threat, yet it still stays orange.

 

How am I supposed to fix my computer if the software's screwy?
