Guest Larry Fullerton Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 While upgrading Norton Antivirus I received error message: "Windows Base Filtering Engine Service is not running on your computer". It then directed me to contact Windowns Support. I upgraded the Norton software because scan found Trojan.zeroaccess.B virus installed on C:\windows\system32\consrv.dll.
