why does MSE stop scanning when POWER shuts down my display after 20 mins

I start a full scan with MSE ,but if I leave it for an hour or two, the power settings causes my display, monitor, to shut down. Then when I check the progress of MSE, there has been very little progress. Is there a way to fix this?
