Guest Alok Sardesai Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 I have Windows 7 Ultimate. Two days ago I installed the update of service pack. The previous time I ran the upgrade it was successful. But this time when I ran the windows update. It installed correctly when the PC was on. After that windows prompted me to restart the computer. It was OK until the Starting Windows screen and then when it came to the welcome screen, there was a text. "Preparing to Configure Service Pack" first it was 44% and after 1/2 half it was around 70%. But it did not go much more than 70%. I waited for 2 hours, but it was still 70%. I started the computer in safe mode and restored my system successfully but I want to update my PC. Here are my COMP. SPECS : Gigabyte G41M Combo Motherboard Intel Core I5 670 3.46 Ghz Nvidia GTX 480 RAM : 3 GB KINGSTON and my PC' s primary use is gaming and work. Please help me in solving this issue.!!
