Guest Marshall Reid Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 This morning, I turned on the computer and noticed the icon for MSE in the system tray was red with an x on it. I opened MSE and it said "Computer status - At risk" and "Real-time protection is turned off. You should turn it on." First of all, I have no idea why it wouldn't be on - it's always on, and I never turn it off. But more importantly, when I click the big red button that says "Turn on", nothing happens. It acts like it's trying, but then times out and gives me the error code 0x800705b4. What do I need to do to get this to turn on? I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit SP1. Thanks in advance for your help. Continue reading... Quote
