HELP! IE redirecting from the MSE site to a bogus site

If I paste the URL of the MSE download site (www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=5201) into IE, I get redirected to a variety of sites that are reportedly selling software to "fix" my PC. The virus appears to be in IE (as opposed to deeper in the network, such as DNS), since pasting the same URL into Google Chrome works as expected. I was able to access microsoft.com and walk the links to the MSE site, so it does not look like the Conflicker worm. Help! I don't see any other overt signs of an infection, but if it's redirecting selected URLs, I worry about what else it might be doing. I just completed a full scan with MSE, which found nothing.
