Dvd X Player Pro Trial installer - How to confirm whether it has malware planted?

After installing the DVD X Player Pro Trial installer accidentally - I found my browser to misbehave occasionally. I am checking if there is any website which has blacklisting of known malware apps. also - provide service to scan an msi package for malware?

 

Misbehaviors were of the kind

1. Browser will not visit to a valid URL. Disconnecting and connecting the broadband wireless connection will restore it.

2. Browsing slowing down.

 

Full scan with fully updated microsoft security essentiall which is up to date and monitoring real time - did not detect any malware. Also - malwarebytes as suggested by MS support personnel, did not detect any malware.
