Guest tinyang Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 I have an XP SP3 desktop which had offline files enabled for a network file share from a Windows storage server 2003 R2. I turned off offline files (Explorer > Tools > folder options > Offline Files > uncheck 'Enable offline folders' > apply > OK > reboot) on the desktop, but the offline files still seem to be on. When the user started deleting the folders that were left over from offline sync on the desktop, the corresponding folders on the server were also deleted. How do I remove this offline folders connection for good so that we can remove the offline copies on the desktop w/out removing the items on the server? Thanks. Continue reading... Quote
