Guest Ehruska Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 Environment: Windows 7 Enterprise Tools: WAIK, and Sysprep using Unattend.xml created in WAIK using basic settings. I'm having a problem with an image I created following, more or less, the guidance in the Step-by-Step: Basic Windows Deployment for IT Professionals guide. Once Sysprepped I've made copies of the HDD's using a disk duplicator only to find that not only the copies but the originals have two annoying issues that I can seem to resolve through normal startup troubleshooting methods.. I'm getting to the point where I have to look at re-building the original images, but I want to avoid the issue next time. These images were created from an imagex .wim file that was previously sysprepped. The intention being that I could create sub images within the .wim file with hardware specific settings. 1)The Sysprep GUI window appears after a restart on any user account with Admin privileges 2)After a restart the local administrator account tries to logon.
