Networking problem driving me nutz

Hi all,

I have a XP Home laptop and a XP Pro desktop, both in a workgroup and wireless. I had a printer on the XP Pro PC visible and could print to it from the laptop for a long time. Not anymore. On the laptop in my Network places I can see the desktop there but when I click on it, it says it cant find the PC and the network path is not found. On the desktop I see the laptop and when I click on it I get a popup asking for a logon password. in grey I see \\hplaptop\guest so I guess it thinks a guest is looking for the laptop. I have print sharing set on for both and as I said, accessing the printer on the desktop from the laptop worked fine for quite a while but now it does not work.. I see a number of threads out there with what seems to be similar problems and a ton of proported fixes... but I dont see positive fixes out there and on the MS support sites I dont see this problem addressed at all. Help?? Laptop is XP Home at SP3 and desktop is XP Pro also at SP3
