Windows XP Service Pack 3 and 5 windows patches not installing

We have a user that has five updates not installing on her machine that involve Microsoft .net 4. These patches were pushed out via WSUS. I have tried to download them manually and install them but they just rollback. I used the Microsoft Fixit program for WSUS patches and .net patches not installing but that didn't seem to help. any ideas of why these are not installing and how i can get them to install? if not, can i hide them if necessary?
