I'm working on a Toshiba Satellite laptop running Windows Vista that keeps crashing after just booting in to Windows. I had been scanning for malware and the computer had froze, so after 3.5 hours I just gave it a hard shut down. Now I'm getting the error in the subject line. I've tried multiple restore points but nothing changes, I need to avoid a complete wipe of the computer.
