why are users prompted for virus removal when the admin has set default actions to remove for all alerts - regular users are not able to judge if the prompt is genuine or a spoof or what removal may or may not mean - what is the point of default actions

if they are not actually carried out automatically by default - this has occurred recently with the latest MSE client 4.0.1526.0 and updates as of 28 May 2012 on Win7 Home Premium with Rogue:Win32/FakePAV and Rogue:JS/FakePAV
