will windows defender interrupt with the fuctioning of microsoft security essentials ?

i installed microsoft security essentials on my pc for home use and i uninstalled the anti-virus software that i wanted to remove. now only microsoft security essentials is working on my pc . but i am worried if windows defender will interrupt with the fuctioning

of microsoft security essentials ?
