Issue with svchost.exe

The process svchost.exe is using a lot of memory and CPU. It goes up to and over 300K. The services it deals with are BITS, EventSystem, Nla, RasMan, SENS,

TapiSrv, W32Time, and winmgmt. This may or not be related, but the same time this started, AVG stopped a few threats, mainly blackhole viruses, or something like that. Also, there's sometimes shutdowns if I don't end the svchost.exe process, although,

this gets a bit annoying, since it turns my taskbar white... Also, the process doesn't seem to end.

So, I was wondering if any of those services might be the cause of my issues, and how to deal with that said service. The sooner, the better. I have a feeling this is related to me downloading a few visual novels recently though. I may have downloaded

a bogus one, but I always deleted them if they were bad files.
