DaMan Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 I have downloaded and installed 'Abine' DNT+ do not track software, but operation is blocked. I reeive the following popup message: <em>Uh-oh, DNT+ wasn't allowed to communicate like normal, it's DNTPService.exe was terminated.</em> <em>This is often caused by overactive antivirus or security software. First, try restarting Internet Explorer.</em> <em>If that doesn't bring you joy, you may need to configure your security software to allow the DNTPService.exe process to run. Abine.com's support can help, but make sure you know your security software before youu conmtact us. Stay safe and private!</em> I have followed the steps idicated steps including contacting Abine without success. Machine Dell 610 Latitude Laptop WinXP Pro SP3; IE8; Microsoft Security Essentials MS is updated regularly as is the AV. I disabled MS Essentials including the Firewall - No Joy I do not believe there is any other active scaning security software running on this machie. Do you have any ideas what is blocking this app?
