WinDVD has appeared on screen since attaching a Samsung digi camera.

<u><em> </em></u>after  clicking as told the following message appears     'The<u><em> feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable'</em></u>

 ALL efforts to remove or rectify have failed.

<em><u>Error 1706 is displayed on screen</u></em>

Unable to swich off pc correctly as the WinDVD installer appears again

What have I done?

What do I do to get back to normal?

Tried sytem restore and other efforts to no avail

Any help gratefully received, the least technical the better as am a new silver surfer
