Guest NewsBot Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 I was working away when the "busy" spinning circle showed up for the Explorer window that was opened for a memstick. A green progress bar started to creep from left to right in the address bar. I normally see this when file search is initiated, but I didn't do anything like that. I just clicked on a folder in the navigation pane. Is there any way to determine what is going on? I would have thought that if Windows takes control of an Explorer window and makes it unavailable, standard UI principles would dictate that a message be presented to the user indicating what is happening. The progress bar was quick at the beginning, but it seems to be very slow as it approaches the right edge. The task manager doesn't show any significant CPU consumer. View the thread Quote
