Recover favorites from old profile. Windows 7

Here is what I did it's kind of complicated...

 

 

I rebuilt a user profile to see if it would fix an issue they were having...

 

 

1) Logged in as admin renamed user's profile xxxx.old, removed associated profile reg key, rebooted.

 

 

2) Logged in as user to create a new profile

 

 

3) copied favorites from xxxx.old profile so I could use a link. Issue still persisted  so i wanted to revert back to the original profile.

 

 

4) Reboot, log in as admin, deleted new profile folder (regretting this), took off the ".old" from the original profile, rebooted.

 

 

5) Logged in as user, all data is there except the Favorites. They are gone.

 

 

It seems like I 'moved' the favorites instead of copying them, although I remember copying. Is there anyway to get the favorites back even though I deleted the profile folder where they might have been residing?
