Guest NewsBot Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 I recently had to completely clean out my Dell Inspiron 1545 (64-bit) laptop, and reinstall everything from scratch. This was all done with existing OEM disks. The only new item was updating to Office 2010. Now, irrespective of whatever action is tried - uninstalling/reinstalling/updating drivers, disabling touchpad using hot keys etc. etc. -whether I use the TOUCHPAD alone or use the mouse (USB or wireless), the cursor continuously jumps back to an earlier location in the text or else disappear off the working text altogether. It could have something to do with auto-refreshing, but it affects all typing irrespective of program, whether online of offline. I have located this question under "Programs" in the "Windows Topic" window because I have no idea where else to locate it. View this thread Quote
