I'm thinking of purchasing Windows 7 now so I can get the Windows 8 Upgrade offer, but I read somewhere that this is limited to PC's that come preinstalled with it. IF I purchase a key from the Microsoft Store right now and install it on my own PC, will

the upgrade offer still apply to me?
