eddo Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 Are you the kind of person that believes everything that you read that is anti-Bush, anti-Gov't, or anti- rational thought? I am involved in a series of posts at another board with a couple of guys that will believe anything as long as it comes from an Anti-Bush website. Here are a couple of their viewpoints: The events of 9/11 was an inside job, rigged by Donald Rumsfield and demolitions experts to cover up a missing 3 trillion dollars that Rumsfield misplaced. Bush has had in mind to attack Iraq since 1990, when Saddam tried to "kill daddy." Bush is trying to become "Dictator of the World" The recent elections were rigged if Repubs won, but ok if Dems did. Kennedy and Lincoln's respective assassinations were a conspiracy, and the coincidences between them prove that. I am not so naive that I believe everything the gov't tells me, but I consider myself savvy enough to see that if an anti-gov't website is pushing an anti-gov't agenda, then the "facts" they push probably aren't as accurate as they could be. So how do you view the government? Quote I'm trusted by more women.
RoyalOrleans Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 So how do you view the government? Too big and nosy. Like a bully on the playground who suddenly shows compassion after he kicks your shins and takes your lunch money. hugo Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 GW said it best "Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master." - -- George Washington Ignore the far left and far right nutcases who see evil intent behind every government action. Be aware though that the road to hell is paved with good intentions. A good rule of thumb is if the site also has articles on UFO's or Bigfoot it probably ain't real reliable. Jhony5 Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 The recent elections were rigged if Repubs won, but ok if Dems did. Don't think that because the Dem's won, that the tinhats won't find a way to turn that into a conspiracy. Give them enough time to concoct a scenario and we will be provided with a reasoning as to why the Bush admin allowed the Dems to win the elections. A good rule of thumb is if the site also has articles on UFO's or Bigfoot it probably ain't real reliable.Oh come on. Now your going to question the existence of Bigfoot? Jhony5 Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 Didn't take long...http://www.sciforums.com/showthread.php?t=59723 LOL, good work Hugo. The inevitable is termed as such for a reason I suppose. Why blow the election? It largely boils down to Iraq -- and the opportunity to make this a bipartisan problem as the catastrophe worsens in the months ahead. You can't get anything by a nutjob. Their senses for fraud are acute. Quote i am sofa king we todd did.
