RoyalOrleans Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 Drunk Tab? That is horrible. Glad I was damn near 30 when that teen fad occurred, I meant drank Tab. I guess, the ne'er-do-wells and the no-good-niks mixed a little rum in their Tab. I rebelled. I drank New Coke. eisanbt Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 The 80s has its own cheesey "Don't you forget about me" charm about it. It was the first great and failed go at commercializing...everything really. But much like a child's first picture with crayons, you still have to admire its unique oddness and slap her on the fridge. Msixty Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 Go for an M14. Most of the current sharpshooter rifles are based on the M14 design. ok, my new hunting rifle/target rifle was a toss up between the Remington 710 and a Springfield M14, i guess i'll go with the M14. Quote Your stupidity is My weapon WARNING! my mood and mental state are strongly influenced by music and T.V./movies..... i may seem the slightest bit insane.. just don't let me watch my favorite show and or listen to my music and it will all be alright.
snafu Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 The 70's and 80's were my era and I don't remember any mullets. I just heard about that recently. We were heads all the way baby! Now allow me to express my discontent with apple pies, well hot apple pies anyhow. I mean I love a good apple pie as much as a BJ from a $500 hooker, but when you heat the fucker up it loses all it flavor. Maybe not all, but most. I see people adding icecream to remedy this attrocity but shit-son, why not just let the thing cool down. TooDrunkToFuck Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 And that is why my age group gets looked down on.... I can't stand the kids who act like that and actually think they are 'cool' all they are doing is causing the rest of us problems and get us looked down to. I'm not saying I'm some kind of pristine child, but i don't think that 50 cent's 'get rich or die trying' was an interpretation of the bible. (actually, i didn't watch it, i use my money for better things.....like Saving for my new hinting rifle, Springfeild M1A1, feel the love ) uh..anyway... back to the topic at hand, i do understand where the adults are coming from, and actually, I'm one of the people 'looking down' of the teens of today, it really is up to us to change how others think of us, so the next time you see a kid trying to be the 'ghetto gangsta' he thinks is so cool, PLEASE set-his-ass-straight. My main problem with most people around my age is that they don't really try ... At just about anything. Anything intellectual at least. They listen to whatever crap is on the radio and think any song that talks non-stop about asses or being gangsta is great, and when it comes to politics, pretty much buy into whatever MTV, Fox, or CNN tell them. That and they're notoriously closed-minded regarding religion. Either they refuse to acknowledge basic historical facts about certain religions or they go the other route and state matter-of-factly that there is no God and nothing matters in an effort to sound like a badass. (I'm 20, in case any-one's wondering) Oh, and I love how Snakes On A Plane parodied the shit out of the rappers who greatly exaggerate the "serious business" aspect of rap. Quote

morgansaysthis Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 i have a theory teenagers are exactly like adults in every way but there environment is diffrent how ould you like to have to go home to 2 people who legaly completly control your life and can and may decide what you can and cant do adults bitching at the office is the same as kids bitching at school adults and teenagers are both immature i just moved out of my house 6 months ago, so im in the middle but closer to teenager, but that does not mean my thoughts should be ignored how ever if it is a 16 year old girl who just broke up with the love of her life and her life is over thats diffrent, and she nees to be slapped but just to clarrify, just because your old dosent mean you cant be a spoiled brat as well Quote
