I dont' know if anybody saw it or not. http://www.ktva.com/alaska/ci_4914813 So dose anybody else see the implications here? Maybe the Polar bears will be what it takes to stop or impede global warming. http://www.cnn.com/2006/TECH/science/12/29/canada.arctic.ap/index.html Quote "You can't stop insane people from doing insane things by passing insane laws. rizzo Posted December 30, 2006 Posted December 30, 2006 I read about this in the paper. Is the issue global warming, or the natural cycle of the earth? http://www.clearlight.com/~mhieb/WVFossils/ice_ages.html Approximately every 100,000 years Earth's climate warms up temporarily. These warm periods, called interglacial periods, appear to last approximately 15,000 to 20,000 years before regressing back to a cold ice age climate. At year 18,000 and counting our current interglacial vacation from the Ice Age is much nearer its end than its beginning. Quote
hugo Posted December 30, 2006 Posted December 30, 2006 Global warming can't be stopped. India and China won't stop rapidly increasing CO2 emissions. Polar bears are overrated. Just bleach grizzlies.
