XrockinfreakX Posted December 21, 2004 Posted December 21, 2004 i like them i think they r working on more cover songs i saw that sum where in an article Quote August eighth, two thousand and seven was the best.
Clogz Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 Cover songs just prove the point - this band is dying. I mean, when you can't even write your own songs, what kind of a band are you? The industry is quickly moving away from the nu-metal and screamer bands. Those that refuse to conform to the industry's demands have two options: Resign or die. Slipknot resigned, as The Subliminal Messages: Volume 3, was announced as thier last album. Korn and Linkin park are the only nu-metal bands left, and Linkin Park is obviously going to stick around for a while. The industry is keeping them, and they are lucky for it. Korn is going to die. If they refuse to change thier sound, they will simply go under. People want less from nu-metal. It was almost like a quick infatuation, and ended after Linkin Park came onto the scene. I mean, they have monopolized nu-metal, so all the other bands are falling on thier faces. They did the same thing to the rap/rock scene, and now Limp Bizkit is finding themselves in the same position as Korn. Fighting a losing battle while sliding downhill in a wheel-less car. They are in the red now, its only a matter of time. Quote And then I felt chills in my bones / The breath I saw was not my own I knew my skin that wrapped my frame / Wasn't made to play this game XXI
