I have the same problem, along with a plethora of others. But the best way to deal with this thought is to just ignore it. It may turn you into a directionless person, but at leats your alive.

darkness will always fool you. Its known to. The darkness tricks you into thinking thats all there is. But you know better. You know that ther's always some light worth looking for. at least thats the way i see it. I think the darkness and hate and fear trick you inot thinking thats all there is, but its only skin deep. there's another world which you muct find. One thats worth living for, and if you can't find it, you're not looking hard enough.

Yeah, it sucks when our friends are hurt and we want to help them so bad but don't know what to do. I should know I think, like someone here already said, that showing him you care is already one step in front to making him feel better. I've been thinking life's not worth living too much for my own good, but I'm lucky, I have some great friends that bring me back from that sadness. I don't know what I'd do without them... They're everything to me, I owe them so much. I'm in college in a major I hate and I feel like I'm wasting myself every step of the way. Having to study all this crap I can't stand brings me down, when I know I have habillities to do something that I really like. It's just that I'm a coward and I was afraid to quit... now it's better for me to graduate anyway and then get a 2nd major, but I don't know if I'll be able to do it. The pressure is too much, the bar is too high and I really hate my major with a passion. I don't want to be doing this, but I'm not sure what I'd rather be doing... I miss not having a direction. I feel lost. But when I start to think my life is worthless, I think about my friends and that makes it a bit better. It's not worthless, because I have them

Ive just recentley had an argument with a big group of friends. From that i relized who was a proper friend and who was just wasting my time.

 

Believe me, just telling them youll be there for them if they need anything and you will support them will be appreciated alot.

Yeah theres not much you can do other than that. The best thing you can do is go out there and have fun and hope for the best. I spent the best part of my life worrying about things and they usually come out ok.

Hey I know how you feel. That's what my life has been like in the last 5 years *sigh* fortunatelly, it seems my friend is getting better step by step. Me and my other friends always made sure she knew we were there for her (we're a gang of 4 friends, more sisters and brothers actually) and that turned out to be important. She told us if it wasn't for us, she probably could have done much serious harm to herself. The will to get better must come from him, but knowing that you care is really very important. So don't forget to let him know you're there for him!

Ok you must have got me wrong. I didnt mean forget about him, i meant be there for him. Make him know your there for him and just try to not dwell on it to much. I know its hard Ive been there...Sorry for any misunderstanding.
