If you have not heard of MR here is the story :

 

MANIKIN R3PUBLIK is a melodic industrial rap-core band that originally formed in 1998 in Northern California. The music is hardcore industrial and melodic sounds but no guitars. ( as of yet)

 

D.BUNK the frontman for the band MANIKIN R3PUBLIK who rap/sings haunting prolific lyrics over edgy digital landscapes. D.BUNK has one arm that is a circuit board with two robot band mates. M1 on keyboards and M2 on turntables.

 

Band Influences : Massive Attack, KMFDM, Bjork, and a long list of other styles and genres from 1950 to 2010.

 

The first MR album "Bricks of Joy" was recorded in the summer 1998 and released in the Los Angeles area on the streets and played in small clubs around the city.

 

MANIKIN R3PUBLIK is much more then music but a visual spectacle in the making.

MR is has been supported by their fans and is not a signed band. MR is one of the first Rap-Core bands to ever surface and the fanbase is small but global.
