LP_Soldier Posted May 28, 2005 Author Posted May 28, 2005 Here it is! Chapter Eighteen: New Beginings I had woken up early this morning. Visions of last night's events were playing like a movie in my head. I still couldn't believe wgat gad happened. I got out of bed, careful not to wake Chester, and stepped out on to the balcony. The fresh morning air felt good as it hit my face and blew through my hair. I took a deep breath in and exhaled slowly. I closed my eyes and stood there, holding onto the railing. It was over. It was finally over. Everything that had happened was now in the past. And I was now free. I heard the sliding glass doors open, and Chester came up and wrapped his arms around me. We kissed goodmorning, and he turned to me. "How are you, baby?" He asked. I smiled slightly. "I'm okay now, Chaz. I'm okay," I answered. He hugged me tighter for a moment, then took my hands. "I love you so much, Tina. More than anything in the world," he said sweetly, looking me straight in the eyes. "I love you so much too, Chester," I replied. Chester smiled, and I noticed a certain look in his eyes. A special look that no one else had given me before. "I want you to know that you're my world, you mean everything to me. I promise you, I'll love you forever. You complete my life. I've never felt this way about anyone before," Chester said. Then, he got down on one knee and pulled out a small box. "Tina, I love you. I know you're the one for me. And now, I just have to ask...Tina, will you marry me?" Tears filled up in my eyes and the biggest smile crossed my face. "Yes!" I told him. He slid the ring in my finger and stood up, taking me in his arms. "Oh, Chester. I love you so much!" And we stood there on the balcony in a warm embrace. I was so happy, I coul not believe all that had been happening to me. I'd met my favoutite band, we became best friends, and I toured with them. Plus, I was marrying the man I had been in love with almost all my life. Everything wa perfect now. The sun was shining brightly down on us. It was a new day. I've actually been working on a prologue, so I'll be posting what happens before she meets LP and stuff. It'll take place a couple years before, when Chester was still in Grey Daze. I've had to change parts of the story to fit the prologue. You'll understand when I post them.
