1ST FAN FIC(read plz) Part 1: Mike's big secret

Hey ppl, that's my 1st fan fic and I'm very excited! I decided to make it after reading the other fan fics (which are great), but I dunno if it is good. I mean, it's my 1st and everything else. If you wanna read, please, forgive my English, I made my best. And if u have some advices for me, I'll aprecciate. Thank u all. And enjoy.

 

CHAPTER #1: Mike's Big Secret

 

Triiiiiim-triiiiiim. The telephone rings.

- Hello? ... Heeey, how are you Mike? We all miss you! How was the trip? Dude, I need to show you what me and Brad did another day. No, no, it’s like a… hum… fuc**** weird song, man! Oh ok, 9 pm? Right, see ya.

Chester walks into the garden, where Samantha was discussing with Draven about his grades at school. The boy is 7 years old and he doesn’t wanna study, all he thinks about is in playing guitar alone, in his room.

-And that’s it, boy. End of conversation.

Sam looks to Chester and smile. We are in 2009 and Linkin Park is having a free time, after lots of shows around the world, and Chester choose Spain to spend this time, while the other members of the band decided to stay in Los Angeles with their families. Tomorrow they will take the plane and will stay about two weeks in Spain. But tonight, Mike Shinoda is giving a party at his house and his friend Chester, for sure, was invited. He told Sam about it and she agreed. Draven would go with them.

It was about 9:30pm when Sam appeared with a fantastic red dress and Draven whistled:

-Wow… Mum, you are beautiful!

- Yes, you are, Sam! But now… what the hell are you waiting for? Let’s go.

The house of Shinoda’s family wasn’t so crowded. They decided to invite only a few people, the Linkin Park members. Brad, Rob, Joe Hahn and Phoenix were already there when the Bennington family arrived. Mike opened the door:

- Yo, Chazy Chaz!! Whats up!!- *Mike hugs Chester*- Oh, how beautiful you are, Sam! Draven, how are you man? Please, come in.

Everybody greet and started talking about their own lifes and plans for the vacations. Brad was happy with the new single. “Number one on hit parades”, he was saying everytime. Draven was kind of lost with all the adults, he couldn’t stop thinking about his new guitar.

Suddenly, Mike stood up and Anna did the same. She was looking very shy at this moment.

Joe laugh:

- Hey, Anna, you look a little bit insecure!

Then Mike hold Anna’s hand and said:

- Shut up, Mr. I-Love-Frogs!- and then, everybody made fun of him.- Ok, I was joking. Me and my beautiful wife... we… have something to tell you.

- Huum secrets!- Chester said, joking.- But we already know that you are a CIA agent, man! Your toothbrush is a spy!

- Hold on, Chaz, he can arrest us! I’m so young! And I won’t be away from my drums!

- Can you please listen? Tension is building inside, ahn? You are a bunch of nosey! By the way, that’s the reason why I invited you guys tonight, but nobody is listening!

- Oh my gosh, I told you. We’ ll have to pay for the champagne! We are losers!- Joe was pretending to cry.

Ten minutes later, Mike finally could tell them their “secret”:

- My friends, Anna is pregnant!!!! We are waiting our first little Shinoda!!!!!!

Everybody stood up and embraced Anna. She was looking very happy and affected. Sam had tears in her eyes and Phoenix threw champagne everywhere.

- Finally!!! It's such a big surprise, Anna! Is it a boy or a girl?

- I don't know, Brad... but I'm excited! Finally I get pregnant.

- Ohhh little Mike is coming! Let’s sing something and celebrate, people!!- Joe yelled and started- We wish you a Merry Xmas, we wish you… no, no… I mean, come little Mike, come….lalala….

Then Chester said:

- Let’s sing one of our songs, guys. Anna, you choose.

- Well, why don’t you sing an old one? What about “With you”? We are all with this baby, from now.

They sang all the night for the little baby, and Anna was so happy…

It was about 4am when Sam noticed that Draven wasn’t around for a long time and she became concerned.

- Where is Draven? Draven! Draven!

The boy didn’t appeared and Sam was about to break.

Exactly, Amy! I dunno if I should keep doin this, it's kinda difficult, but I like it, I mean, it's funny to do this way.

that was really good. i loved how draven acted, though it was more like a teen anyway it was good and please continue. ( i know writers block and its hard to think of ideas, i too write stories adn have alot of writers block)

Part 2: BRAD GETS ANNOYED

 

CHAPTER #2: Brad gets annoyed

 

In seconds, everyone was trying to find the kid. The house was big and Draven could have gone everywhere, even to the swimming pool or the studio, where Mike keeps his keyboard and all the band stuff.

But Rob was lucky. He figured out that the door of Mike’s room was opened. As a big friend of Mike, he knews that he could enter the room without problems.

- Draven, are you there?

Suddenly, the kid appeared and gives Rob a little smile. The drummer guy approach and held Draven’s hand.

- I was looking at the stars.

Rob looked at the porch, which was full of chairs and pillows, and then turned around.

- Beautiful night. But your mother is waiting for you, let’s go.

When Rob came with Draven, Chester and Sam almost kissed him and then, everybody decided that was the time to say goodbye. Phoenix and Lindsey stood for the last drink with Mike and Anna. The next day, the Bennington family would be going to Spain.

 

THREE DAYS LATER….

The sun was rising when Joe called Brad.

- What the… oh Joey, I was sleeping, man. It’s about 6am. Are you mad? Hmm... with me? Why is that? All right… but now I really need to sleep. Did you remember: we are supposed to be on vacation! Oww, man... No, no turning back now, I’ll meet you at eleven, ok? That’s right. Bye.

At this exactly time, Brad and Joe met at a cyber cafe which was empty. Joe was very nervous and Brad realized that. They sat down and Joe put his hands on his face.

- I’ll tell you something that…it will be between you and me, ok? Just for now. Then, I’ll tell the others.

Brad approaches his face to Joe, very nosey. But Joe hesitates for a moment.

- Listen Brad, I wanna get out.

- What are you talking about? We just entered this cyber and you wanna get out! Freak!

- No, no, no! I was talking about… the band.

Brad goggled his eyes and then looked around. He could not imagine that the Joe was talking about this.

- I’m sick of the tension, Brad. I cannot continue. I wanna have a family, I hate the paparazzi and I don’t want to be a dj anymore. Actually…

“This isn’t happening, this isn’t happening!”, Brad was horrified. He couldn’t speak, he couldn’t breath. Linkin Park without Mr Hahn? Joe keeps talking:

-… I’m planning to be a real director. A Hollywood director, Brad.

The conversation took hours…. Joe tried to explain everything, but Brad couldn’t understand. It would be so difficult to told the other guys about that. But Brad figured out that he wouldn't kept this secret. He would tell the others as soon as possible. But at this moment, his cell phone rang.

- Just a minute, Joe.

- Who is it?

Brad catch the cell phone and spoke slowly:

-It's...Chester.- and then he looked at Joe and thought "What am I supposed to do now? And if Chester asks me what am I doing...."

NO! Joe:( ..Thats sad, i hope he ends up changing his mind.

CHAPTER #3: Mike discovers something nice….

 

Brad answered to the phone:

- Hello. What’s up, Chester?

Joe was trying to keep calm, but he was afraid of everything. At any minute, Brad could say “That’s right, Chester. Joe is leaving the band!!”. But it didn’t happened and Brad quickly turned the telephone off.

- Well, I need to go now. - Brad said, standing up.

- Promise me you won’t tell them what is supposed to be a secret.

- So promise me that you will think about all this stuff you told me… you cannot leave Linkin Park now. Just promise.

- Brad… just wait a couple of months, and you will see who must leave the band.

- What are you talking about, man?

- Mike… and Chester. They will leave the band!!! Didn’t you notice that they are working on a solo? Wake up, dude.

- But they won’t leave us, Joey. They did it before… don’t you remember?

Mr. Hahn just gave Brad a smile and the conversation ended. Brad was afraid because he didn’t think about this possibility, until now …

 

AT THE SAME DAY, ON MIKE’S HOUSE

 

- What about Julie?

- Hmmm…. Sweet! Do you like it?

- I do. Carol? - Mike was sitting in front on the computer, talking to Anna, who was looking at the mirror.

- No, no. Brandon…oh, I love this name. Brandon Lovejoy Shinoda.

Mike laughs, thinking about the baby.

- Oh my---

- What happened, dear?

- There are just too many times that people have tried to look inside of me, but now… unbelievable. .

Anna stood up and approached. Mike was in a Linkin Park forum.

- Is it all about the band, Mike?

- Yes... can you believe it? Look at those pics! I thought nobody had this! Wow, so many threads and members!

Then, a few minutes later, Anna felt a little dizziness and nauseate. Mike was having such a great entertainment that he didn’t figure it out and his wife fainted. That was when he turned around and became terrified.

- Wake up, Anna! C’mon!!- He was holding her in his arms, but they were alone and no one could hear him.

The computer was still on, but none of his friends was online or something. Should he call someone?

CHAPTER #4: “I wanna run away!”

 

Anna was still unconscious. Mike got the phone and called the Emergency, with Anna in his arms. About 30 seconds after, she opened her eyes.

- I’m not feeling very well…ah…

Mike put her on the bed.

- Everything is ok, dear. The Emergency staff is coming.

- No, no, Mike! I don’t need it, really…I’ll be fine. Please.

A few minutes later, the ambulance arrived and the guys went up the stairs as fast as they could. Mike was worried about her and about the baby, but it was nothing really dangerous.

- She is ok, sir. If you need anything, call us again, please.

 

AT BRAD'S HOUSE:

 

Brad was terrified. He promised Joe that he wouldn’t tell any of LP members that Joe was about to leave the band. But they were like best friends and should know about it too. “What can I do?”, Brad kept thinking all the time. Monica, Brad’s wife, opened the room’s door and embraced him.

- What’s going on, Braddy?

- I wanna run away, Monica.

- Why is that?

He could not tell her too. “I promised Joe, I promised!”. But she was his wife, and the both didn’t have secrets… and if she knew, what could she do? Brad told her everything and she became sad too.

- We need to change his mind, Bradford!

- Oh c’mon, don’t call me Brad-ford.

- Sorry, I’m nervous…. But and about Chaz and Mike. Did you remember they were working in a solo?

Brad remembered it really good. It was in 2006 and she thought Linkin Park would split up, but it didn’t happen.

- It’s different, Monica! Nothing happened! But now Joe is NOT working on a solo, he is leaving! L-e-a-v-i-n-g!

Monica knew how the band was important for his husband, and she decided to talk to Mr. Hahn as soon as possible, alone. The only problem was that Joe had a crush on her, since he braked up with his girlfriend, who was a fake, and Brad didn’t know it. But… what could happen in this conversation?

At the end of the same day, Monica went to Mr. Hahn’s house. She knew that Mr. Hahn was probably alone, and she was feeling insecure and afraid. The guy used to have a crush on her, but because of the friendship with Brad, he couldn’t do anything. Still now.

Joe opened the door, smiling, with a cup of coffee.

- Hi, Joe.

- How are you, my sweet Monica? - Then he looked around- Where is the Big Bad Brad?

- Actually, I came alone. I need to talk to you.

He felt his heart jumping like crazy. Monica was there…. And they would be alone! She came in and he offered her a cup of coffee. They sat down and she started:

- Well, Joe, I’m here because of my husband.

- I knew you would break up with him! You know how much I adore you, Monica. – He approached, and Monica could felt his breath.

- No, no…Joe… that’s not because of this. I’m here be-

- Can I kiss you, my love? I’ve been waiting for this for a long time. It’s true the way I feel!

- No.... no… NO!!!! C’mon Joe!! Can you listen, please?

Joe got his cheek red and his hands were sweaty. He lost the chance to kiss her.

- I came here because I want you to reconsider the decision of leaving the band. - Now, her hands were sweaty.

He stood up and walked through the room. After some minutes, he looked at her. She couldn’t see the same lovely smile.

- Mike and Chester almost did it before, Monica. But now I feel like doing this…I’m confused. It’s like a paranoid, I don’t know what to do… I want to be a director; I’m not feeling happy on Linkin Park. Remy is not happy too.

Monica was quiet, listening. She almost laughed when he talked about his alter ego, but she kept listening:

- In another hand… if you think this is important for Brad and the other members, you can… do something very important for me too.

- What, Joe? - Monica was starting to feel cool… Brad would be calm now.

- Stay with me.

- What?

- That’s it. Tell Brad you don’t love him anymore and stay with me.

- Are you crazy? You bastard! I…I can’t believe! – Monica was terrified.

- I love you, Monica. I need you! You are the most important think that I have. And that’s the way I found to have you! If you do it, I won’t leave the band.

- What do you mean? You don't "have" me! I put my trust in you, Joe! - Monica started crying. Joe was being such a stupid, and she didn’t know what to do. But the worst thing was that Brad didn’t know she was there… what should she do?

CHAPTER #6: Chester meet some friends

 

Mr. Hahn was becoming... stronger. Now he could felt like he had Monica in his hands…s he was crying and that was just what he needed to figure out that. “Men always control the women!!”

- Don’t cry, honey. That’s not fair. I’m making an offer… and you should accept. Brad is just a young and stupid guy, I bet he never gave you flowers or chocolate. I am what you need, Monica. Just make the right choice. You know how much Brad adore the band….

- You are such… you know what, Joe…. I’ll ask Brad what he thinks about your offer!!!

Monica stood up, but Joe was faster and locked the door.

- Well… if you’ll do it, you won’t live the house.

Chester, Sam and some friends were having a beer at Joel Madden’s house.

- My life is getting normal now. When we reached the top, about 2005, we were getting crazy…

- Oh Joel, Good Charlotte is a great band. Did you remember when we played at the same place? That concert was amazing, dude.

- Yeah, Chester, I still can feel like I was there.

It was starting to rain. The winter was coming… Joel’s new house was big and comfortable.

- So Chaz… what about the MTV purpose? Will you guys accept it?

Sam couldn’t hear about this. She completely hated the purpose… In fact, MTV wanted the band to get into a new world tour: an Asian tour. It would be fun, but all of them were too much tired for this. And Sam wanted Chaz to stay a little more time with Draven.

- It’s hard to say no.

- Chester Bennington!- yelled Samantha.

- I was kidding. I won’t accept. Not for now. But the other guys… I bet Mike won’t accept, because of Anna’s pregnancy. Phoenix told me he is fucking tired… Brad and Joe could accept... well, I don’t know.

- MTV is always making purposes like this.- Joel laughs- But I have something to tell you, my friend.

Chester looked at Joel’s face and he was looking sad.

- What’s that about?
