Get off your ego train. This forum can go on without you. No one is so important that, if that sole one person left, the site would crumble. You say the mods make poor decisions, and that basically you are better then all of us. Personally, giving an ego maniac power is the worst thing you can do for that person. I can see it now...with you as a mod, disrespect would be encouraged, along with several of these great 'elites' being banned.

Basically, I don't honestly beleave that banning anyone has an effect on this site. Treeves and Azem are both gone now, and instead of people seeing what has happened to them and learning a lesson, they have simply keep fighting like they were before.

These mods are great, they haven't steered this site wrong for over a year now. You can't expect anyone to be perfect, that is a silly request. The things you believe should be a Mod's qualifications are best suited for a computer.

No one, not me, not you, not anyone, is the glue of this site. We are all the glue. So like I said, get off the ego train.

Hybrid Soldier was a very high quality member from the very beginnings of this site, and straight on through for five months or so (correct me if I'm wrong HS) and after that he decided to leave the site.

He was a smart, contributing member of the site and I am glad to see that even in his absence, ATLien still named him an elite.

And I have informed him of what is going on, and he has a right to his opinion..respect it..

 

He WAS a quality member. ATLien shows favoratism again. He made him an elite after he left. He doesnt deserve it. Then he comes back and tells me I am dumb. I have done more than he has. And what you just said, you have informed him of whats going on. Thats right "you". You are very biased. Your opinoin of things is not the truth, but a distorted image in your favor. He has his right, but no right to bring it up to me in a way he knows will get him into a fight. He wants to help the place, yet he brings destruction on it himself. Same for you little man.

I know how hard it is to be a mod, I used to be a mod for a hawaiian help site.

 

We had a few members like Azem, sniper, woody, and treves, and boy it was fun dealing with them.

 

But it's not as easy as people think..because in order to live up to the standards that these people have...you basically have to read *every single thread* and no one has time for that.

 

I must also admit that i had a bit of favoritism in me, since i went to the private school there for summerschool, i knew a lot of the people there, and the ones i didn't know...really were fucked.

 

I ended up being relieved of mod duty from the admin because i..stood my ground, and it started to cause a mutiny.

 

Now for the relativity of that story to LPF..

 

The mods can only...police the site, but the members are what make it what it is. If some of the..."looked up to" members were to..revolt, then the site would go into a sort of..civil war.

 

Basically, sniper's "side" would be the confederates (relative the the american civil war) and the mods "side" would be the union.

 

In the end the mods will "win". And since they have supporters.. The site will stay..but not in it's full capacity.

 

Basically..this is all pointless, so just drop it lol.

Look Sniper, you've made your points, very well and we've all listened and understood. Stop the arguing now and get back to being a decent forum member... cos the way I see it, you're causing a load of agro in this thread. As has been previously said, we know what needs to be done. Yeh, you're an elite member, but you still have your place in the whole system and the hierachy. Yeh you're higher up on it than most of the rest, but that means you treat everyone else with respect and don't argue with people just cos they have a different opinion. People will respect you if you respect them, and their opinions. Respect is earned.

well this is my opion

 

i was looking at the lpf leaders and i was counting on how many mods u have which the number is 6 u have a total of 6 mods .......and which sometimes they aren't on all the time some come on at night,.....but remember this is my opion....i was thinking maybe altien and phage could like host an interview with some members who wanna be mods ......and i know that being a mod is u can't like abuse the mod power i a mod on two linkin park web sites.

and i don't abuse the power at all.........but this is just my opion/idea...
