Horses

Hey guys

 

I was just wondering if anyone else is interested in horses or riding. Anybody have a horse? I ask because I'm really really horsey and love meeting horsey people... I've been riding a little while, and hang round horses and stuff like that.

 

Surely I can't be the only one...

4 years, eh? Longer than me... I don't have a horse either. What do you do, in terms of riding? I mostly just do a lot of ringwork... I finally just learnt to sit the canter, on a horse who has a really bouncy one... hehe.

 

A friend of mine recently bought a horse and she nearly called it Chester

I only just started jumping really... it's fun. I rode at my friend's place on her horse and he was a bit headstrong (the horse lol ) and sort of swerved just as I was about to jump him... and nearly ran my friend over... it was pretty funny.

loads of the poeple at my school have horses

 

i used to ride, but there are never any schools close to me and i dont own a horse, id love to start up again though

Keza - that's a shame... if any of your friends have horses you can maybe ride with them? I ride with my friends sometimes, it's cool.

i know, im leaving this school soon so my chance is really up...i really want to start it up again, but what with school, a job and looking after my little brother, helping in the theatre and babysitting for the people on my street i dont think i'll have any time unfortunately

Over the Easter break I'm hoping to ride with my best friend. She's kind of new to horses so it should be an experience... hehe

the riding instructos i had last was called megan and she really reminded me of someone, you know in the beauty and the beast, when the beast turns into a man, she looked like that

I hope she doesn't humiliate herself! It's possible though, she's not been riding very long at all. She embarasses easily *sighs*

I reckon a good instuctor is firm, yet helpful... my previous instructors never really inforced anything and were really quite unsafe - they let people canter if they could barely walk. My new one won't let anybody canter until the rising trot is sorted. She knows her stuff okay, and she's splitting us up according to our ability too. Which is a good idea. Some of my lessons I take with people who are really quite inexperienced, and while I'm not exactly a professional I do have some experience and they hold me back quite a bit. I have a lesson this Saturday that should be good.

last week i rode on a kinda hyper horse.. and who's really headstrong

i almost fell of.. everybody was laughing at me

 

i don't know on which horse i'm going to ride tomorrow... we'll see^^

the biggest memory i have of horse riding is when they put me on a really wild horse, they had tried to break it 3 times and it still was pretty bad

so they decided to put me on it...

this other horse bit its but and it ended up galloping off with me on its back and it rode off, cuz it was an open stable,

it took ages for me to get it calmed down enough to go back

i think i lost about 20lbs in sweat that day...very scary lol

wowsies... yeah i can understand that

i rode on a really wild horse once... it galloped really fast.. every time i had to gallop it just ran of really really fast.. lucky for me i didn't fall

the only reason i think i didnt fall off is because my leg was trapped in the stirrup

i love horse ridding though and i dont know how people cant like it, i really hope i can start up again maybe while my bro is at his clubs i can join...
