Well, for one, you could argue that they instigated their one-sided "war" with Palestine when the Mossad killed a major Hamas leader. IIRC, that happened well before the Palestinian 'instigation.'

 

Personally, I say fuck 'em both. I don't want Israel to keep gaining territory and spreading imperialism, but I don't want to see any apocalyptic religious fanatics gaining power either.

I'd say, that if a war broke out after some kidnappings, I'd suggest that the war wasn't totally a sum result of kidnappings and a single assassination alone.

Fair enough. My main point is that Israel wasn't some innocent victim deciding to fight back against the big bad bully, as US propaganda news portrays due to them being an ally of the States. They have a history of being assholes to their neighbors just as their neighbors have a history of being assholes to them. It's dangerous when Americans start blindly supporting Israel based on the logic that our government approves of them, therefore they MUST be in the right. The world just isn't black and white like that.
