I wiped a tear from my eyes. I was so happy that I finally got in. There was so much that was going through this kids mind that i don't know what im suposed to think. On one hand I was so damn happy that I was getting out of here and going to college and then on the other, my dad and mom are filing divorce. I dont know who the hell is going to get custody of me but i dont want to go with my mom I refuse. I guess I was spaced out a little the next thing I know, something is dripping from my forehead. I slowly begin to wipe potato salad from my hair. I turned to see Draven, uncle chester, and my dad laughing.

"You guys are so immature."

I said as I heaved the food back at them. My dad's mouth dropped open. Uncle Chester's potato salad dripped down his face. He looked like he was going to yell at me. He started laughing. He took a handfull of pasta salad, curtasey of Phoenix and tried to throw it at me. His aim is really bad in his old age. it hit uncle Rob in the back of his neck. Almost every one froze. my dad's face almost was drained of its color which made his head look white and blue. Uncle rob took the half eaten piece of hot dog that was Kale's . He threw it at Dad. it hit him square in the face. Mustered smeared all over his face.

"Rob!"

He said as he jumped on top of him. the two guys rolled right into the pool with a gigantic splash. suddenly someone had picked me up and was running towards the pool.

"DRAVEN!!"

I screached as he tossed me into the pool. I saw Draven's blong head laughing me as i swam to the edge of the pool away from my dad and uncle rob dunking and splashing each other. Draven offered me his hand. I smiled as I yanked on his arm and sent him toppeling into the pool. The rest of the guys started laughing as they bombarded us with the pool squeezy thingys. I took one of them and chucked it at Ryan. a big wet spot appeared on his favorite red shirt.

"Oh my fucking god. no you didn't!"

He yelled. I ducked as he threw the ball at me.

I opened up my locker as I pulled out my book bag. Suddenly as I made to get my books and my bag from the floor I heard a slam. Shit the whole back of my shirt was stuck in my locker. I sat there on the floor as I tried to turn around. I waited for another five minutes before trying again. Damn it, Joclyn shut my shirt back in my locker. I gulped as the collar of my shirt cut into my neck. I waited for someone to come and find me. Draven came down the hall in his gym clothes. He gave me a strange look as he saw me sitting on the floor.

"What happened?"

HE asked. I moved aside as he took a look.

"Oh."

he then tried to pull it out with no luck. he then went and got the rest of the guys. They still couldnt get me free. Kale suggested that we go get a crow bar and then they took off running. Draven sat by me while the others went out.

"I guess that your kindda stuck to me."

HE said with a laugh as he poked me with his finger in my stomache. I laughed. I then turned to the side to face him. Draven turned to the side to look at me as well. We caught each other in a kiss

I laughed as Remy and his girl friend came back with a crow bar in their hands. It took them almost the whole class period to get me out of it. Alyssa, Reamy's girlfriend, was really nice. she lent me one of her old Linkin Park shirts for me to wear while the other one was ripped and she sowed it back together.

"Thank's Alyssa. I have a feeling that you and I are going to get along really well. "

I said as Draven stood with his back to me as I changed.

"Hey guys why don't we go some place to hang out?"

Kale sugested as he kissed his girlfriend, Katara. They were really weird. Remy and Alyssa, Kale and Katara, Billy and Sara (never saw those two getting together) Ryan and Terry (definentaly didnt see that one ryan and a cheerleader)

"How about my place? My dad said that I could have some friends over."

Kale said. Draven made a face.

"I don't know is your dad doing the cooking? the last time I ate uncle rob's cooking I was puking drumsticks for a week."

He said. Kale punched Draven.

"We could just go to the movies and then to my house. We can order pizzas"

I suggested. They nodded.

"Lets vote on this one. All in favor of Uncle Rob's cooking?"

Ryan said. no one raised their hands.

"All in favor of pizza and a movie at Kilala's"

Everyone raised their hands.

"Off to the movies!!"

Ryan said as he grabbed his girlfriend by the hand as they started to run off in the direction of the movies. Draven took me by the hand and we went to the movies. we sat through another boring movie I can't believe that those guys wanted to see the Inuyasha movie. ok ok it was really cool but I think it would have been better if it was just me and Draven without all of the making out and stuff. it was grose.

It was weird and extreamly awkward between me and Draven the past couple of weeks. I felt almost like an outsider around the group. Oh but how to tell Draven of my feelings...alright lets cut the shakespearian bull shit. I really wanted to tell him all of this stuff but as always I'd probably end up with my foot in my mouth. Draven sat beside me at the dance where they pulled out the bleachers in the gym. There wasn't really too much to do since they played so few mosh songs. It seemed to be a rule you pretty much mosh to any song that is rock since Rap has pretty much taken over the industry. I watched as Kale and his girlfriend get bagged on by the assitant principal mrs.Patrick aka Bitch Barbie. Shes the spawn of hitler i swear. She was always messing with Billy and Kale cuz they were jewish. But ever since our dads talked to her, she's pretty much left them alone. I saw Kale make a run for it, so did Mrs.Patrick. He made it saftly under the bleachers, she on the other hand stepped on a balloon and went face first into a trash can. God that was so funny. Sudden the whirling of lights slowed down and the people made their way off the dance floor. The beat of the music slowed to what I recognized to be a Linkin Park song. It was My December, one of my favorites. Draven grabbed my hand and looked at me.

"Come on Kilala, come dance with me."

He said pouting like a little baby. I don't normally dance.

"Fine but if I step on your feet its not my fault."

I said as I warned him. He just smiled and pulled me out to the dance floor by the speakers in the gym. I put my arms around his neck as he put his hands on my waist drawing me closer to his strong tattooed arms. We slowly rotated under the strung up lights that they always put up. As we danced a little longer I realized how tired I was and how I felt so comfortable. I put my head on his chest. But then of course as life would have it, Bitch barbie ruined the moment.

"You two need some space between you."

She said as she forced herself between us. then of course the moment she left, Draven pulled me right back even closer. I could feel his warm breath on top of my head.

"Theres a secret I want to tell you Kilala."

He said as he brought me closer to him. He leaned down over my ear and whispered into it.

"Will you be my girlfriend?"

"YES!"

I squealed as I jumped up and kissed him. Kale made his way over to us. he's such a dip dork.

"SHUT UP KALE!!"

Draven and I said before he said anything. His mouth just flapped open like a goldfishes. He gave a little growl and then turned to his girlfriend.

"Lets go the happy couple seems a little edgy."

We laughed as they both went off. Draven picked me up in a piggy back as he carried me to the band van.

"Want to go get some coffee?"

He asked. I shrugged. I didn't mind it too much. When we got there, it took them forever to get us our frappachinos.

"I ordered a frappichino, where's my fucking frappichino?"

Draven and I both said as we immitated his dad from the collision course DVD we made hand motions like he did.

"See I told you whitey can whoop!!"

Draven and I broke out in laughter. We finally got our frappichinos after about twenty minutes. He held my hand as we walked out in the park. the rain started up and it made me sneeze. I hate it when it rains and I'm stuck outside, i always get sick. I looked up into Draven's beautiful brown eyes.

"I guess I better get you home, the last time we stayed out in the rain like this you were sick for a week."

I guess he remembered. How could he forget? He was the one who stayed with me that whole week and kept me company. He brushed a wet strand of hair from out of my face. He took me back to the van where he put his flannel Jacket on me. It made me feel warmer.

I sneezed. eww snot. its gross. I couched and hacked up another lung. this bites. Its mother's day and we were suposed to go to grandma's tonight but Dad says I can't go because I'm sick. Uncle Chester and Draven brought some of their famous chicken soup. its alot better then the stuff that Dad tries to get me to eat. He says its an old acient japanese medicine, i think he's cracked. Draven stayed with me while our dads did some cover work with uncle joe. Finally when it was time for them to go, my dad came in and sat on the bed with me. I liked it how it was now with out mom. I felt bad that she had to leave, but now it was just me and dad now.

"I'm not going to eat any more of your medicine. Just give me some Drixoral will ya?"

I said through my sinus headache. My dad started laughing at me. I crossed my arms.

"With that stuff you feed me you make me think that you think that Draven's a vampire. "

I said as my dad continued to laugh like some one gave him a dose of laughing gas. He pulled out a box of drixoral and dangeled it above my head. I growled as I jumped for it and missed.

"Dad give it to me!!"

I shouted in Japanese.

"You gotta jump for it!!"

He said teasingly. I stopped and blinked. Shit mega sneez. Achoo!! I sprayed snot all over my dad and his favorite shirt.

"Cant say I didn't warn you."

I said as I wiped my nose with a tissue. He pulled his shirt off and then took my huge black DC shirt and put it on. I sniffed again. being sick really bites.
