the xbox 360 is coming out. i saw same kinda show on it on mtv.

the PS3 controller looks like a boomerang I'll have to say that the PS3 is better than the 360 with the graphics. I saw some shots of Getaway 3 and it looked almost real. And when i say almost, i mean VERY close to real.

 

I'll still chose the 360 though.

This was also posted on a Dutch site, and the responses to that said that it will be 3x as better because they had to reduce the quality of the games.

XBOX360 prices have been revealed:

 

XGP Gaming is reporting “leaked” Xbox 360 prices. The basic package is expected to retail for $299.99 and will include the console, one controller and all the requisite cables.

 

The deluxe package is expected include an extra controller, the remote, and a hard disk drive loaded with extra content. It may also include the eyetoy-like camera, though details are still sketchy. The price? $360. Where in the world did they come up with that crazy number?

Here's what Miyamato said about the Revolution controllers.

 

"I'd love to show it to you. I'd love to be able to show you the features of the Revolution controller and tell you about them. However, unfortunately if we do that too early those ideas would be stolen. We know that from past history. Analog stick. Boom - gone. Rumble Pak. We bring it out and everybody has to have rumble. We got the wireless out first and now there's wireless everywhere. So we have to keep it under wraps."

 

I found this on another forum.. looks like Nintendo has something big planned for their controllers

Yeah I saw him say it on an interview on G4techtv. I dont blame him. N64 introduced the analog. and rumble pack. Im lookin forward to the revelution. who knows how good itll be

I have been listening to the critics alot, and I think PS3 is going to take the market this year, it is clearly a more powerful system, and will offer much better game play then the xbox 360.

Kinda looks it...i think the vid game industry is gunna go in a slump. They are predict $70 bucks a game. And $500 a console. Thats way to fuckin expensive. Most people would rather buy a CPU

personally killzone is the only reason that i see for getting ps3...cuz racing sim are seriously...getting old...same with ww2 games

Well, Nintendo turned down building in HDTV support into the Revolution for that reason.. less expensive to develop games and to manufacture the console. So hopefully the Rev will be a more affordable solution Still can't wait to see the controller...

yeah i think...its gunna be like a touch screen controller lol...thats rock...and dependeing on ur setting the buttons will rearrange on the screen of the controller.

 

but yeah...i dont think we exactly need high def in our vid games..even though itd be nice....so who knows nintendo might stealm the gold this time

the PSP is the biggest waste of money ever. Games over priced, movies over priced, and no selection. The PSP is clearly a pure money maker for Sony. Why not just buy a laptop in the long run it would cost less, and it plays DVD's, PS1, PS2, Xbox, and Gamecube games.

I think that the concept is kinda cool...but if I were to buy a handheld unit such as the PSP, then I would wait for microsoft to make an xbox handheld. However, I think it's kind of pointless to have a handheld DVD player...and I own an iPod, so I wouldn't need it for music...the only thing that I would really use it for would be games and pictures (only if it takes pictures and has connectivity with a PC to upload the pix). But then again, there probably wouldn't be a good selection of games. So, I think it all depends on whether or no microsoft comes out with an XBOX Handheld, and if it meets my requirements. Otherwise, I probably won't buy one.

 

Personally, I think Sony ripped off the idea from Nintendo with the Gameboy and DS. Though, Nintendo has really proven to be disappointing in the past 4-5 years. But that's just me. Nintendo does have its classics, though...The Mario Titles, Donkey Kong, and maybe a few others.

 

So to conclude my long boring post, I'd have to say that Microsoft kicks Nintendo, Sega, and Sony in the ass miserably. Yeah, Sony is up there with Microsoft, but Microsoft has proven to kick ass better than Sony. So....uh.....BUY THE NEW XBOX 360 WHEN IT COMES OUT!!!!!
