So from what I hear, this party isn’t a go to the door, they ask you a question and you get to go in type ? Because I know for some of the mini concerts and stuff thats how they pick people...

Maybe they pick the lpu members who are in arizona and are the most activie.

 

Not sure... From what I've just read, it's going to be roughly 50 people from the LPU plus up to 1 guest each, so about 100 people...

Well it all sucks if you can't go. I'm new in this and sad thing is I'm from South Africa. I might think of moving to Arizona just long enougth to meet LP.

I think it's just sad to read how so many people are left out for this party. I did sign up for the contest. But the posts I see on the LPU are making me sooooo depressed. It's true that most people who get invited are living in driving distance from Arizona, but some even had to book a flight to get to Arizona. Hell, I can book a flight aswell, only 1 from Holland to the USA. What is wrong with that?? Well, have to cool my nerves over this, I'm getting frickin annoyed by it all. Esp. the talk about what to wear, how to do your hair, should I wear earrings or not? I feel so fucked up over this. Have to let it rest I think. Just think our day will come once.

Trust me, I know how you feel. I didn't even get a chance to submit my name for tickets as I have a prior commitment for that weekend.

 

As for those people talking about what to wear, how to do their hair, etc... Those are my friends who were chosen and I am truly happy that they're able to go.

 

There are a lot of things that I haven't been able to take part of in my short time in the LPU. The MFR concert and M&G, the book signings (one of which I was an hour and a half drive from) among others. Just be patient. It's an especially tough time because the band isn't touring, so demand for entry to events like these is higher than normal.
