Chainerreturns Posted May 18, 2005 Posted May 18, 2005 i dont like to call them preps.. i dont like labeling but i have noticed that everyone is wearing them. i actually confronted a girl about her shirt today.. i asked her what her shirt meant (it was a shirt for SlipKnot) she had no idea it was a band.. she actually freakin thought it was a punk rock designing company... i wanted to laugh at her in her face but i couldn't im not that mean.... they aren't just wearing shirts.. its wrist bands' date=' hats, etc. like one kid yesteday was wearing an LP wrist band.... i was wearing mine too and he had no idea what it meant.. it was just a regular one with just the LP sign with the P backwards... these people are so...... STUPID.. dont wear something if you dont know what it means.... Walmart is full of band tees'.... and people who haven't heard of these bands are buying them... its pathetic.. for some reason this issue drives me crazy...[/quote'] what did the t-shirt say?its either something about maggot, song name, album name, band name or maybe quote. linkinpark-1 Posted May 18, 2005 Author Posted May 18, 2005 yeh your so cool just coz you wear band t-shirts well so do i! and who cares just let them wear it! at least its getting people to know the band better.there are alot of fakers out there but its a free world just let them do whatever they want' date=' if they want to be lame let them be lame.[/quote'] If they like the band i wouldn't have a problem at all, but the fact that they know nothing about it is just wrong. It's not what music is about. NoEnd Posted May 18, 2005 Posted May 18, 2005 I'm the only person in the WHOLE DAMN SCHOOL that wears LP merch. I have never seen ANYBODY wear anything LP related EVER. I think it's because we have a majority of gangsters & fake Cali girls(in NJ) with fake tans fake blonde hair and fake everything else. I'm the only one in the whole school with the LP spirit =' date='( . Same goes for Papa Roach...[/quote'] yeah i know.. half of my school are gangsters but they think im cool so woo Quote

uwantme2b Posted May 18, 2005 Posted May 18, 2005 Band shirts aren't a big thing around here. I sometimes see LP, Korn and Slipknot, and occasionally Greenday, but that's it. There's no point wearing a shirt if you don't even know what band it is Quote http://www.sucksbbs.net/data/MetaMirrorCache/9b54002b9ea728de39c3770316d52169.jpg Shark picture by Graham Lambert Rep me please :-)
About2Break27 Posted May 18, 2005 Posted May 18, 2005 Yes we were the first to start' date=' but its preety scrarey to see "preps" in band tees. Its actually preety disturbing cuz some times the tie it up so that there stomach would show and it just ruins the tee itself and the image on it.[/quote'] Okay, who the hell knows? Maybe they like their music. My friend is kinda preppy and she is a diehard LP fan. If they aren't a fan of LP, then whatever. It doesn't really matter. As long as we dont stop loving linkin park's music, then we should wear their tees loud and proud and ignore the a-holes that wear them for fashion. Really? That'd be kidna funny. But band tees are only worn here by people who like the music. All the "preps" at my school don't even shop where they would sell band tees. Hybrid Soldier Posted May 19, 2005 Posted May 19, 2005 I dont see why it matters, what I do is: if it looks cool, wear it. Why do you need to know what it means? Quote
