Band T-Shirts a New Trend?!

All of the sudden EVERYONE is wearing band tees! It's all the preppy people too. They don't even know the bands they're wearing. I went up to one of the preppy one's that was wearing a Linkin Park shirt and I was like can you name 10 Linkin Park songs, and ALL their albums. They couldn't do it. It's so pathetic. I was the first one in my school to wear a band tee now EVERYONE is, it's one thing if you like the band, but if you don't know them don't wear them! It's sorta comon sense. Everyone's getting them from Hot Topic, so now I have to buy them online, cause I'm NOT going to be stuck wearing the same shirt as some "wanna be" who doesn't even know anything about the bands. ERRRR I hate it!

DEFINITELY. and you're right, most of the people wearing them don't even know 2 things about the band! it's just "in" right now. i hate that. they just need to go back to their prissy-dressing-rap-listening-sex-having-happy-going- selves. No one wore them in middle schoo. when school started ni high school, lots of people wear them. usually just the rockers to. Lots and lots of Led Zepplin! \m/ Umm yeah Its not humungously poular, but fairly abundant

i cant stand people that wear shirts like the ramones, or ACDC, and all those bands that if you like you're a "real fan of rock/punk" but they dont know shit about the bands... i personally only wear band shirts minus a few other ones i have.. but i know and listen to the bands i have.. (my favs being my 4 LP one's of course lol)

No preps wear band shirts in my school. There has been an increase in people wearing band shirts in my school though. People just but the shirts because they look cool. I buy the shirts because I actually know about the band.

I don't know many preps that wear band shirts, but they have become more popular at least in our class. I think that's just because more people are getting into the music though. We've got many posers, but not band shirt ones or whatever.

I wrote an article about this in my school newspaper. (I used SlipKnot and LP) Yeah, it's stupid! You can walk up to sum1 and start talking about the band, and they'll just go with what you're saying. (try it, it's funny, really.) What really pisses me off, they wear whatever looks cool and makes the real fans look like they're the poser. (sp?)

well.. we have to wear uniforms in the schools down here.. yes in public ones too.. but even so no one really wears band tees to the malls and what not.. only the normal people they normally wear them that is.. but if like people started to wear band tees and they knew shit about the bad I might get mad.. but then again its just a t-shit.. its just cloths.. you will leave.. you live learn and forget.. some one wearing your fav. band's t-shit isn't gunna kill ya.. so hey.. just say screw them and walk away.. not a big deal..
