How old were you when you got your first Mobile / Cell phone?

Some people go overbored with their cells. Id like to have one. Itd be cool. I hate being the only one of my friends without one. Alot of people who dont have cells or dont have friends tend to downplay them. I actually need one. Becuase as fate would have it whenever I need a phone I dont have one near by and I end up getting in trouble for not contacting my parents. But yeah, cells are cool. I want one.

Mine is mostly because I go out a lot and my parents would like to be able to know where I am and stuff. I don't talk on it constantly....or hardly ever for that matter. I just don't talk on the phone. Oh, and if you get caught with yours going off in class (or even having them out for some teachers >.<) they get confiscated and sent to the office and you have to get it back from the principal some time.

I use my mobile phone all the time and I dont get stupid convos, anyways bout this u must be 18 to get phone crap SHUTUP lol. U have to be 18 to get contracted phone but any age for pay as u go, u cant go over board with pay as u go .

If u dont have a social life u dont need a phone but if u do then yes u do, we have to turn off phones in class. But when something big comes up and ur not at home then ur pretty damn screwed lol.

My phone conversations are always under 2 minutes, usually under a minute

me:bye

 

I never go into details, if they want to talk they can meet me or get online, phone is a burden to talk on in my eyes.

 

and of course I use it to get rides and hold my #s

Ugh. I still dont have one and Im 14 1/2. But Im living with it.. actually. I really hate when all my friends like talk on them when Im just like right there and they dont even care Im like what the eff.

 

Me too. I'm the only kid that doesn't have one that I know of at school.

I don't need one though. If you wanna talk to me, get online or talk to me in person. I hate phones. So fucking pointless. The Internet is better.

The simple fact is watchin something on the go is alot harder then hearing something on the go so the will always be a place for audio convos via telephone.

 

IM'ing is ver much last resort for convo for me unless I dont know the person personally as I only use Im's to talk to people I dont actually know and in person or on the phone if I actually know them.
